In the heart of Riccione
The Belvedere, located 50 metres from the sea, is easy to get to and has its own convenient private car park. It is just a few minutes walk from the very popular Viale Ceccarini (famous for its shops, ice-cream parlours, pubs and entertainment) and only a short distance from the Spa of Riccione.
The Italian region of Emilia Romagna stands apart from all the others. In this central area of Italy, which shares borders with Tuscany (although not too far away from Venice), the most popular form of transport is the bicycle. The local people love their bicycles and likewise love tourists who take cycling holidays, welcoming them with kindness and fine cuisine. It is a land of famous figures, from Fellini to Pantani, as well as home to the Ferrari (and of course Schumacher). A land which can boast the world’s best equipped beaches, a wonderful hinterland, historic cities and castles and particularly ancient traditions. Within this region, the town of Riccione is known as the “Green Pearl”, an elegant resort designed around the needs of man, with innumerable fashion boutiques (in Viale Ceccarini), plenty of greenery and a great sense of hospitality.
From Riccione, it is just a short bicycle ride to Rimini, heading over the Roman Bridge of Tiberius and under the Arch of Augustus, or you may prefer to climb up around the bends of Gabicce Monte which towers over the sea, or to explore the hinterland.
Setting off from Belvedere on a bicycle ride, you will be full of positive energy and when you return from your “tour” you will find friends and a pleasant welcome awaiting you.
If you love cycling, then you’ll enjoy the freedom Belvedere offers, whilst resting assured that you’re every need will be looked after (there even being a small cyclist’s workshop).
The dense spider’s web of roads that wind their way across the hinterland of Riccione mean that it is possible to organise an endless number of itineraries here, each one covering a different route and each one varying in difficulty.
