Thursday 3rd July

On arrival at Alpe D’Huez, get settled into your room and meet the alpcycles.com team and your hosts for the weekend.

Afternoon tea/pasta and dinner at the chalet.

Friday 4th July

After breakfast today, you can spend the day getting prepared for the coming events. You will have plenty of time to set-up your bike, take a spin, load up with afternoon tea/pasta and relax.

Saturday 5th July

Early breakfast.

07-huez2.jpgWe will head down to Bourg d’Oisans ready for the start of the race at 07:15hrs, and then the fun begins. You will climb the Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier and finally L’Alpe d’Huez. A total of 174km! Feeding stations and mechanical support are included. When you’ve crossed the finish line (a champion), we will all get together.

Early dinner again at the chalet and plenty of stories about the days events.

Sunday 6th July

So now for your second event of the weekend, Grimpe L’Alpe D’Huez. We will descend to Bourg d’Oisans to begin this Time Trial event ascending the 21 hairpin bend climb to the top of Alpe D’Huez. Get your personal time and soak up the atmosphere of this fantastic weekend.

Farewell dinner (well deserved) at the chalet. Relax and have a beer with us to celebrate your achievements

Monday 7th July

Sadly it’s time to say Au Revoir. Breakfast, then Alpcycles.com transfers to Geneva airport**(see below)

Included in the price of the trip is:

  • Transfers from and to Lyon St Exupery (LYS) airport (please see info below).
  • 4 nights half board en-suite accommodation in Alpe D’Huez, including breakfast, afternoon tea/pasta and 2 course dinner with wine.
  • Cereal bars and re-hydration powder.
  • Entry fees to La Marmotte and Grimpe L’Alpe D’Huez.
  • In resort transport.
