Day 1 - June 1st
Arrival in San Sepolcro. You’ll stay at our 4 stars Hotel Borgo Palace (www.borgopalace.it) located in the northern part of the Upper Tiber valley and is surrounded by woody hills all around and is protected by fortified walls dating back to the Middle Ages. The hotel is immersed in an atmosphere reminiscent of an ancient renaissance flavour.
Afternoon riding north around the Montedoglio lake through Pieve S. Stefano and Anghiari. After the ride we will go to San Giustino to make the gran fondo registration.
Dinner provided in Hotel: Ristorante il Borghetto
Day 2 – June 2nd
You will have the opportunity to stand with Fred on the front line of today’s event. We hope you have a great day riding in the paradise of Umbria and Tuscany with Fred. Enjoy the rolling hills, medieval hill top villages and ancient towns.
A lovely pasta party will be open to everyone after the race.
Day 3 – June 3rd
Visiting the Upper Tiber Valley by bike: San Sepolcro, Anghiari, Citta di Castello.
Lunch at the local restaurant in San Sepolcro. Umbria and Tuscany tipical food: Wild mushroom varieties, white and black truffles, wild boar, rabbit, etc. etc.
Afternoon free visiting the town, massages in Hotel.
Dinner provided in Hotel: Ristorante il Borghetto.
Day 4 – June 4th
ARRIVEDERCI UPPER TIBER VALLEY!
All good things must come to an end and it is time to say arrivederci. We will transfer you to the airport for you departure.
