In 2010 Bikestyle Tours has a variety of new trips and old favourites that we believe will suit everyone’s desires.
Our trips will cover the Tour de France in full with an exciting mix of trips taking in starts, finishes, mountains, time trials and just about every aspect of the race.
If it’s Etape du Tour you’re interested in then we again have our “No Strings” Entry Only and our Etape Guided Trip available.
This year we are introducing two levels of Tour de France trips the Classique and the Premiere Trips and our VIP Options including our packages for the Champs Elysees and our very popular Follow a Rider and A Day to Remember Packages.
Our Classique Trips are the same trips we have offered since 1996. The combination of good service, attention to detail and value for money has proven to be a winning formula. All our hotels are chosen on quality and location. We generally use 3 star hotels, sometimes 4 star hotels. Occasionally we will use a superior 2 star hotel if we decide that the location is superior to the next available 3 star hotel, perhaps closer to the race route and involving less travel time. In 2010 we will have a group limit of 35 people per trip with a ratio of better that 1 staff to 10 clients, one of the best in the business. We have on the road guides as well as support vans to provide assistance where needed.
Bikestyle Tours Premiere Trips are designed to cater for clients who want something more. As VIP Official Tour Operators we are able to offer our clients a unique package of events including a crossing of the finish line with Podium photos, an access to the exclusive Izoard VIP area to see the stage finish and a visit to the Start Village and the Riders Enclosure on race morning. All this adds up to a unique insight into the Tour de France. These trips have a limited group size of 20 people with a high staff to client ratio. We have on the road guides as well as support vans to provide assistance where needed. For the Premiere Trips all our hotels are chosen on quality and location. We generally use 4 star hotels, however occasionally we will choose a 3 star hotel if we decide that the location is superior to the next available 4 star hotel, perhaps closer to the race route and involving less travel time. Meals are of a higher standard and we strive to include quality regional cuisine and wines where ever possible. Wine is included with all meals.
Bikestyle Tours has been organizing trips to the Tour de France since 1996 and we are one of four organizations with the top level of accreditation as VIP Official Tour Operator of the Tour de France. Over the years our trips have evolved to suit the needs of our customers. The experience of our pool of ex professional riders has also greatly assisted our knowledge base and makes a distiction between us and other organizations offering trips to the Tour because of this.

Unlike some travel companies our Tour de France tours are “Guaranteed Departures”. We do not cancel our trips due to insufficient number of passengers, so we’ll never leave you stranded without a holiday!
