What is a Premiere Tour de France Trip?

Bikestyle Tours, as one of four organizations with the top level of accreditation as VIP Official Tour Operator of the Tour de France, is offering a new level of small group tour – the Premiere. These are our trips for those that want the ultimate Tour de France experience and include special Bikestyle exclusive options such as VIP access to a stage start, stage finish and the chance to ride part of a stage with a podium finish just hours before the race.

Bikestyle Tours Premiere trips are designed to cater for clients who want to get something more out of the Tour de France. We are able to offer our clients a unique package of events that will give them an exclusive insight into this enormous, almost living event that moves each day around France and its neighbouring countries.

These trips have a limited group size of 20 people with a high staff to client ratio and a mechanic available on each trip.

For the Premier Trips all our hotels are chosen on quality and location. We generally use 4 star hotels, however occasionally we will choose a 3 star hotel if we decide that the location is superior to the next available 4 star hotel.

Meals are of a higher standard and we strive to include quality regional cuisine and wines where ever possible. Wine is included with all meals.

The VIP Access has 3 main features:
The opportunity to ride part of a the stage on the same day as the race (or D Day as it is called), crossing the finish line and having your photos taken on the Tour de France Podium where in just a few hours the Winner of the Stage will raise his hands in victory. Followed by access to the finish line to see the race finish.

You are also invited to the start village. Inside the village there are many displays and exhibitions of sponsors. You can collect a few souvenirs, have your photo taken with famous people and riders, try some of the snacks they have available, enjoy a drink and relax in this special environment that few get to enjoy. An Official of the Tour de France will then take you on a visit of the rider’s enclosure where you will get close up with all the riders and get to take many photos that will be the envy of your friends back home.

You are also invited to be the guest of the Tour de France at the exclusive VIP finish area called the Izoard which is just near the finish line, offering a perfect location and refreshments to suit the occasion. Prior to this we take a tour of the Technical Zone to see how it all comes together behind the scenes. This is where all the media gather and it will amaze you. Cables, Trucks, Broadcast Studios and of course, famous people!

Typical Inclusions:

• Transport throughout by private vehicles (buses or minivans)
• Services of experienced tour guides, including a former Pro cyclist and our coach driver
• Transfers to and from airport to hotel on nominated days
• Accommodation, in selected 3 and 4 star hotels (with private facilities)
• Buffet breakfast daily
• 3 or 4 course evening meals on designated  nights at quality restaurants
• Ride part of a stage of the Tour de France (fully supported) prior to the pros!
• A photo on the TdF Podium after completion of the stage.
• VIP viewing afterwards in one of the most exclusive areas, the ‘Izoard’.
• Access to the VIP Zones where you have the opportunity to meet Tour Sponsors, Riders and Legends of past Tours in the Start Village.
• Access to the Technical Zone for chosen stages.
