A unique opportunity to see the 2010 UCI Road Cycling World Championship in comfort and style from one of the best locations on the course at the top of the steep Queens Park Rd climb. Over the final 2 days of the event, the men’s and women’s road races, you will enjoy first class catering in the comfortable surrounds of an historic homestead while watching the world’s best cyclists compete for the rainbow jersey. So you can relax and not worry about parking or enjoying a few glasses of wine, we will transport you from Melbourne to the venue in Geelong each day.

Saturday, 2 October 2010. Elite Women’s road race.127 km.
Depart Melbourne mid morning for our VIP Hospitality venue, The Heights, a large historic property located right on the course at the top of the second climb, Queens Park Rd. Enjoy lunch overlooking the lovely gardens before the Elite Women’s road race kicks off at 1.00 pm today. With each of the 8 laps of the tough 16km course the lead will change many times as they battle it out this afternoon and you’ll be able to witness it live today from our sheltered viewing platform. Once the women’s road race world champion is known we’ll transport you back to Melbourne, arriving early in the evening.

Sunday, 3 October 2010. Elite Men’s road race. 260 km.
This morning you can see the world’s cycling stars line up for the race to depart from Melbourne’s Federation Square this morning at 10am. After they have departed you will join us for your transfer directly to our VIP venue in Geelong. We expect to arrive at our viewing point as the peloton is making the first of 11 laps of the 16 km road course. Enjoy a full day of great racing, good company, food and wine while the elite men entertain us as they pass by us many times throughout the afternoon. Once the race is over for another year and we’ve toasted the new World Champion we will transport you safely back to Melbourne.
