Who is this trip for?

Whilst our trip is primarily based on the Giro d’Italia it will cater for non-cycling partners too, with bus trips to strategic locations along the course and visits to tourist spots while the cyclists do what cyclists do! An interest in the race is however essential.

Our trips are designed to give excellent quality, value for money holidays with the emphasis on cycling while not forgetting to enjoy what our destinations have to offer.

You will be able to ride along quiet scenic roads, through beautiful villages, up famous climbs where the view is spectacular, down challenging descents and then watch and see how the pros do it and enjoy the produce of the region afterwards.

We like to ensure our travellers get a complete experience of the areas they visit from cycling to culture… not to forget the shopping and eating!

We have found that our trips attract cyclists of differing ability as well as people who do not ride but just want to catch up with the Giro. To cater for this quite diverse group of people we offer options on most days.

How do we do it?
Our formula has evolved over the years and we now believe that we have got it right. Our aim is to provide you with a hassle-free trip to the Giro and provide the best opportunity to watch the event that you have paid good money to see. In general our trips have the following advantages:

1. We have twelve years experience in taking people to the Grand Tours. Experience is essential in ensuring your trip is well organised and that you get the most out of your trip.
2. We have an experienced and helpful staff. All our staff have a passion about cycling but they are also chosen because of their ability to help not just because they can ride their bikes well.
3. We have a minimum of 1 staff member per 10 clients. One of the highest ratios we know of.
4. On each trip one of the staff members is an ex professional rider who has had experience as a rider in the major races in Europe including the Grand Tours.
5. Each day we offer at least two rides. They are designed to suit riders of differing abilities. All rides are supported with guides on the road. Where possible we also have a support vehicle available should the unforeseen happen.
6. We use luxury coaches with purpose built trailers, plus smaller back up vehicles where needed. Our coaches are air conditioned and itted with the latest video equipment. Bikes travel in purpose built trailers which have been designed for safe transportation of the bikes and ease of access should a single bike be needed at any time.
