Lawrie and Natalie Cranley started organising trips in 1996 and still own and run the company with the same passion and values as the day they started.

In 2006 Bikestyle Tours were very proud to announce that they had been appointed as Official Tour Operators to the Tour de France, and joined a very select group of only 5 companies worldwide who were able to boast this accreditation.
Lawrie writes: “Quality, organisation and experience were big considerations, however it was our reputation in the market place as a company who delivers that impressed ASO [the organisers of the Tour de France].
We also look forward to being able to offer our future customers an even better level of service. As many returning clients have seen over the years we are not a company to be satisfied with second best. Each year we strive to make our trips better than before and believe we are continuing to achieve this goal. We believe it is our desire to learn and develop that makes us a better Tour Operator”.
About Us
Bikestyle Tours was founded by Lawrie and Natalie Cranley. Born in 1958, Lawrie has been a cyclist for over 30 years and has worked in the bicycle industry for over 20 years. Natalie his wife and invaluable partner, was a registered nurse before coming to help in their Brisbane shop, which they sold in 2000 to allow them to concentrate on the tour business.
Although they have been organising trips since 1996, they first travelled to Europe in 1983 spending a year there working and watching famous races while travelling through Europe.
Our philosophy has always been to cater for everyone who has an interest in cycling – both cyclist and non-cyclist. We create interesting and challenging rides while our vehicles travel to strategic locations along the course and frequently make visits to top tourist spots – not forgetting to enjoy what our destinations have to offer.
You will be able to ride along quiet scenic roads, through beautiful villages, up famous climbs where the views are spectacular, down challenging descents and then watch and see how the pros do it, enjoying the produce of the region afterwards.
We like to ensure our travellers get a complete experience of the areas they visit from cycling to tourism and culture… not to forget the shopping and eating!
