Reports coming through to the UK last night said that Contador was trying his best to hide a respiratory infection, so, if that's the case, Cadel is in the frame. I for one, would love to see Cadel take the race; there are question marks over Contador and he's on the "fuentes/OP list" so we could see a repeat of last years' post-race debacle if Contador wins with a cloud hanging over him. Great entry!

I was surprised by Levi Leipheimer; in the Albi time trial he was well back in 9th, 1 minute 25 seconds back from Evans. It was an amazing ride- I saw him on TV call it the ride of his career and he almost stole 2nd. The Discovery Team have really come together at the right time of the race. Oh, well not much chance for Cadel tomorrow but a great ride all around. It won't happen but perhaps Cadel will shake off that reputation for non-attacking riding and attack on the road to Paris :) Well, Contador did enough.
